WELCOME TO THE

Belong. Nourish. Connect.

We're Open!

Wednesdays are your time at the Belfast Teen Center.

We’re open every Wednesday from 2–6pm, and all teens are welcome—no sign-up, no pressure, just show up as you are. Come hang out, grab a warm meal, connect with each other as well as caring adults, and enjoy a space where you can relax, be yourself, and just be. Whether you stay for five minutes or the whole afternoon, there’s a place for you here.

Come be part of something special—we’re excited to have you with us.

The Belfast Teen Center is hosted inside Torchlight Media in a cozy 300-square-foot room. Though compact, the space is warm and welcoming, designed as a comfortable hangout where teens can relax, connect, and feel at home. With its central location and thoughtful setup, it offers a safe and supportive environment that truly belongs to the youth of Belfast.

Our Mission

The Belfast Teen Center is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive hangout space where teens can relax, recharge, and connect. We provide consistent support, warm meals, and accessible resources alongside caring adults, creating a simple hub where youth feel comfortable and free to be themselves.

Our Team

Thank you to all our incredible supporters, founders, and the amazing teens who bring our teen center to life. Your dedication and passion make a difference in our community. We couldn't do it without you!

But Still I Am One

Our Fiscal Sponsor -

While we are in our beginning stage, BTC is fiscally sponsored by But Still I Am One (BSIAO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering young adults aged 16–21 experiencing homelessness in Waldo County. This partnership ensures strong financial oversight and alignment with a shared vision of addressing basic needs, reducing instability, and providing safe havens for youth.

Community Support

There's nothing quite like a community uniting support a worthy cause. A heartfelt thank you to all the local businesses that came out support our holiday party, sponsored nights and everything in between!

The First Baptist Church

A huge thank you to Janet Proulx and the First Baptist Church for pouring so much time, energy, and love into BTC. Your generosity has enabled us to provide essential (and delicious) meals to the youth we serve!

Torchlight Media

We are so grateful to Torchlight Studios and Chris Battaglia for opening their doors and hosting BTC in its very first year. Your passion, creativity, and ongoing support make it possible for us to give teens a space that feels safe, welcoming, and truly their own.

Volunteers!

Thank you to everyone who has shown us support in our opening months! It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for each and every one of you. Your encouragement made this journey even more special, and we look forward to continuing this adventure together!
